TL; DR
- MINI Cooper Oxford Edition costs ₹55,50,000 ex-showroom in India.
- It is a limited-run imported special edition, with deliveries starting immediately.
- Its turbo petrol engine makes 204 hp and claims 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds.
Special editions mostly sell a story, and MINI has a decent one for its latest Indian-market offering. It marks 25 years of the brand’s historic Oxford plant, where everything began, and you can already book the car.

Design, Power And What To Check
Paint options are Indigo Sunset Blue and Chili Red, topped with a white roof and a Union Jack. Under the hood, a turbo petrol oil burner makes 204 hp and 300 Nm, retaining the lineup’s performance-oriented reputation. The engine is mated with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It can hit 100 km/h from 0 in 6.6 seconds.
I’d check two things with the dealer: the release calls the car both “Cooper” and “Cooper S,” and it doesn’t state the airbag count.
