OnePlus has officially announced that the OnePlus N6x will launch in India on July 31 at 12 PM IST. The smartphone will go on sale starting August 4, with Amazon and the OnePlus online store expected to be among the sales channels.

Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed a few key details, including a 7,000 mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, a redesigned rear camera module with a pill-shaped layout, and two color options: Ice Blue and Burgundy Red.

The rest of the hardware is yet to be officially announced, although multiple leaks have already revealed what the complete specification sheet could look like.

Expected Specifications

If recent leaks are accurate, the OnePlus N6x will feature a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Panda Glass protection. While earlier reports mentioned a 144Hz panel, OnePlus’ promotional material currently points to a 120Hz display.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and could be offered in 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants. Storage is tipped to use eMMC 5.1 instead of UFS, which would be a first for a OnePlus phone (not in a good way).

The leaked specifications also point to a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Expected Pricing and Positioning

OnePlus is expected to position the OnePlus N6x below the recently launched OnePlus N6. While the company has yet to announce pricing, industry estimates currently place the smartphone in the ₹16,999 to ₹20,999 range, although those figures remain speculative until the launch event.
