OnePlus has expanded its budget N-series lineup in India with the launch of the OnePlus N6x. The smartphone is available in Burgundy Red and Ice Blue, with sales scheduled to begin on August 4 at 12 PM IST.

The 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at ₹18,999, while the 4GB + 128GB model costs ₹20,999. Buyers can also avail an instant bank discount of ₹1,500, bringing the effective prices down to ₹17,499 and ₹19,499, respectively.

OnePlus N6x Specifications

The OnePlus N6x sports a 6.8-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 900 nits peak brightness. The display is protected by Panda Glass.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card using the hybrid SIM slot. The phone runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16.

The handset packs a 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery with 15W wired charging and support for reverse wired charging. For photography, it features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera.

Other specs include stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.3, IP64 dust and splash resistance, and MIL-STD-810H certification.

While the large battery is the biggest highlight, the OnePlus N6x makes one notable compromise: eMMC 5.1 storage.

At nearly ₹19,000, several competing smartphones offer UFS 2.2 or even UFS 3.1 storage, which delivers noticeably faster app launches, file transfers, app installations, and multitasking. Combined with 4GB of RAM on both variants, the slower storage could affect long-term performance, especially for users who install multiple apps or frequently switch between them.
