TL; DR
- Oppo Pad Mini costs ₹94,999 for its only variant, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
- Sales begin on 29 October via Flipkart and Oppo’s online store; no offers mentioned.
- It packs an 8.8-inch matte OLED, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, and an 8,000mAh battery.
A compact flagship tablet, like an iPad mini, has been virtually nonexistent in the Android market for years. But that’s changing with the launch of the Oppo Pad Mini. It features a matte OLED screen, a flagship chip, and a big battery. However, my excitement lasted only until I saw the price. Here’s the full story, and whether it earns its keep.

Oppo Pad Mini: Pricing & Availability
The Oppo Pad Mini costs ₹94,999 in India, and it’s only available in one configuration: 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Yet again, the memory crisis is at play; otherwise, we’d get at least 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for the same price.
It is available in a single Lavender finish. Buyers can get it from October 29, 2026, through Flipkart and Oppo’s online store.

Oppo Pad Mini: Key Features
The Pad Mini features an 8.8-inch 2.5K OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. If that’s not premium enough for you, it also has a matte-textured display that cuts down on reflections from ceiling lights and makes writing on the screen with a stylus feel closer to writing on paper.
Under the hood sits the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (a 3nm chip released in 2025), which isn’t the best Qualcomm currently has on offer, but still provides next-to-flagship performance in 2026. The battery is the real surprise. An 8,000 mAh cell with 67W wired charging inside a body only 5.46mm thick sounds unreal.

Software is ColorOS 16 on Android 16, and Wi-Fi 7 handles wireless. It has only one 13MP rear camera, so don’t expect a photography tool. Now the awkward part. In my view, the Pad Mini is a lovely idea, but the price is painful. If a tiny, glare-free screen matters to you, wait for hands-on reviews before paying ₹94,999.
