ZTE sub-brand Nubia has unveiled a new budget handset, Nubia M2 Play, for the Indian market. Coming to their new budget device, the Nubia M2 is the third generation device of Nubia’s M series smartphone. The new Nubia M2 Play is a 7.9mm slim device with a reasonable spec-sheet.
Nubia M2 Play Specifications
The Nubia M2 Play is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 processor, backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable to up to 128GB via hybrid sim slot. The phone runs on the Android Nougat software with an upgraded Nubia UI 5.0 custom skin on top.
On the camera front, the M2 Play features a 13MP rear camera with NeoVision 6.0 camera engine, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, while on the front it has a 5MP camera, flash, and f2.2 aperture lens.
To light up the 5.5-inch full HD display, the phone houses a 3000mAh non-removable battery which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging. For security purpose, the Nubia M2 Play will sport a fingerprint scanner, placed on the lower bezel of the screen.
Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4, micro USB, 3.5mm audio-jack, GPS, and GLONASS.
Nubia M2 Play India Price and Availability
The Chinese smartphone maker has priced the Nubia M2 Play at Rs 8,999 in India. The phone will be sold here exclusively via Amazon India website from September 8.
