LG hasn’t witnessed grand flagship smartphone success for the last couple of years but that hasn’t dented its spirit and conviction to succeed. Now, that the LG G6 is all set to wal down the aisle at MWC 2017, the South-Korean conglomerate is teasing bold and innovative G6 features each passing day. The latest teaser gives us the first glimpse of its new interface dubbed as UX 6.0.

In LG’s words, the UI is “specifically customized” to make the best possible use of the phone’s 5.7-inch QHD+ display that has 18:9 aspect ratio. It has named its display as ‘FullVision’ display.  As per the company 18:9 aspect ratio offers better multitasking experience.

The LG G6 takes advantage of the expansive 18:9 display in many ways. Open a call reception window next to the calendar app or the photo gallery at the same time as the message app. Multiple square photographs can be connected together and viewed as a Collage Wallpaper on the lock screen.

The new UX 6.0 features a Square camera that lets user capture and review photos in the equal sized 1:1 split window. In the 6.0 UX, square camera feature cuts the phone’s 18:9 screen into two perfect halves, that allow users to capture images in 1:1 aspect format or to say in square shape and at the same time view them in the other half of the display. But why would you want to view your images in 1:1 format? Because, that’s what Instagram uses and the Square camera allows you to directly click, view and push images to the fledgling social network.

Apart from this, the 6.0 also comes with a dedicated Food Mode, which basically bumps up color saturation while snapping food. In this new app, a user can also create GIF by combining anywhere between 2 and 100 pictures in a loop. Here’ s a teaser video of what LG G6 new interface UX 6.0 will look like:
