When Will Vivo and iQOO Start Rolling Out the Android 15 Update?
If that’s your question, I would suggest you will have to wait for a few more updates. Android 15 has appeared in the developer’s previous and beta builds. It begins the beta phase in June 2024 where Google Pixel devices and a handful of phones from other OEMs will be eligible for the update.
Android 15 will officially start rolling out across all the makers in fall this year which is October when the stable update arrives. Once the stable phase is kicked off, it is up to Vivo and iQOO to roll out Android 15 updates on their devices. As usual, flagship phones such as the Vivo X series will be eligible for an Android 15 upgrade initially followed by midrange and other series. We are hoping to see the first line of Android 15-powered Vivo phones starting later this year or early next year although take it with a pinch of salt at the moment.
