Huawei brought in two new smartphones, the Nova 3 and Nova 3i, in India. Both of these notch-display phones were officially presented in China last week, so we already know about the specifications of both of these devices. The Nova 3 is a Kirin 970 powered flagship and the Nova 3i is its trimmed down sibling with Kirin 710 mobile platform at the hardware helm.
Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i Price in India and Availability details
- The Huawei Nova 3 costs Rs 34,990 in India and will be available on Amazon India starting August 7.
- The Huawei Nova 3i price in India is Rs 20,990 and it will retail on Amazon India as well starting from August 7.
- Launch offers for both phones include Rs. 1000 cashback on pre-booking, extra Rs 2000 off on exchange, No-cost EMI option and Rs 1200 cashback Jio Vouchers.

Nova 3 and Nova 3i Features
As you can see from the spec-sheet above, the Nova 3 and Nova 3i are very similar to each other or even to Honor phones like the upcoming Honor Play or the recently launched Honor 10. All of these Huawei phones primarily differ in terms of camera sensors used on front and back.

Huawei is known to stick to Kirin 970 for all its mid-range and flagship phones and the Kirin 659 for the affordable phone. Which is why the Nova 3i is quite interesting.
The Nova 3i employs the new Kirin 710 chipset, which is meant to take on Snapdragon 710. Somewhere down the line, it will replace the Kirin 659 as the preferred chipset for affordable phones (by affordable we mean all Huawei or Honor phones under 20K).
The Kirin 710 is a 12nm octa-core chipset with 4x Cortex-A73 cores and 4x Cortex-A53 cores. In comparison, the 10nm process-based Snapdragon 710 has better Cortex A75-based and Cortex-A55-based cores that place Snapdragon 710 at an advantage. Eitherways, the Kirin 710 is expected to be a much-needed improvement over Kirin 659 that it aims to replace.
The high-end Nova 3 will compete against the likes of OnePlus 6, Zenfone 5Z and Vivo X21.
