Jumping the increasingly crowded 18:9 display bandwagon, Huawei has launched Honor 9i in India. Apart from the slick aspect ratio display, the phone also houses dual cameras on both front and rear thus boxing all contemporary trends in a single package. This is the same Nova 2i that launched in Malaysia on October 4.
Huawei Honor 9i Features and Specifications
To start with, the Honor 9i is a very slim full metal body phone. The back looks similar to Honor 8 Pro but the only major difference being the rear camera placement.
The front is mostly display. You will find a 5.9-inch 18:9 panel with Full HD+ resolution. The handset is powered by 2.3GHz octa-core Kirin 659 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, driving Android Nougat based EMUI 5.1 software.

Another highlight of Honor 9i is the use of dual cameras on both front and rear. For selfies, there is a 13MP sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor and on the rear, you will find 16MP snapper paired with a 2MP depth sensor. So, the dual cameras on both front and rear will be used only for adding background blur (just as in Honor 6X).
The Honor 9i battery capacity is 3340mAh, while other features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.2.
Honor 9i India price and Availability
The Honor 9i will go on sale starting October 14 for Rs. 17,999 INR. The handset will be available exclusively on Flipkart in Prestige Gold, Aurora Blue and Graphite Black color options.
