Honor, a subsidiary alliance of Huawei, unveiled its full vision display with dual rear and front cameras smartphone in India. The phone that was launched in China, a month back, and in Malaysia, a few days ago as the Nova 2i, has been branded as the Huawei Honor 9i in India.
Talking about its build quality, the Honor 9i comes clad in a slim metal unibody casing, brandishes a slick 18:9 screen-to-body aspect ratio display with 2.5D glass on top, and curved edges on the side.
Under the hood, the 5.9-inch full HD+ resolution display smartphone is powered by 2.3GHz octa-core Kirin 659 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which you can expand up to 256GB via microSD card. The battery capacity on Huawei Honor 9i is the 3340mAh non-removable battery.
As for Honor 9i camera performance, the phone relies on two sensors at the front and two at the back. The front cameras are supported by a 13MP sensor and a 2MP depth sensor and on the rear, you will find 16MP snapper paired with a 2MP depth sensor. The dual cameras are there just to click the bokeh shots, like the one we saw in Honor 6X.
The connectivity options on the Huawei device comprise of 4G VoLTE support, hybrid dual-sim, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, and other standard features. The fingerprint sensor is at the back of the phone.
The Huawei Honor 9i best priced in India is Rs. 17,999, and it will go on sale from October 14 onwards. The handset will be available exclusively on Flipkart in Prestige Gold, Aurora Blue and Graphite Black color options.
