Coolpad today unveiled its much-awaited 5-inch smartphone after witnessing runaway success with Note 3. The idea behind this budget device is to offer a high-end smartphone experience at a through away price.
The New Coolpad is almost an exact replica of Note 3 (except for the textured back and golden trim around the edges) as far as design goes. Apart from the chipset, and display size, remaining hardware under the hood is same.
Coolpad Note 3 Lite comes with a 5-inch IPS HD (1280×720 pixels), 294ppi and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Beneath this display, shines a MediaTek MT6735 chipset which is supported by 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and Mali T720 GPU. It comes with 16GB of on-board storage and can be expanded upto 128GB via an microSD card. The phone is currently running on Android 5.1 and will be upgraded to Marshmallow in the near future, company promises.
As far as the camera hardware is concerned, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite comes fitted with a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front snapper for selfies.
The dual SIM phone is powered by a 3000mAh non-removable battery. The Coolpad Note _ will be exclusively available on Amazon via flash sales starting 28th January. Registration starts today.
