Coolpad Note 8 launched as Paytm Mall Exclusive in India

Coolpad launches its successor to the Coolpad Note 6 launched earlier this year. This new device will be referred to as Coolpad Note 8 and will be sold in India online as a Paytm Mall exclusive.

Coolpad Note 8 Features

Coolpad Note 8 boasts a 5.99-inch 18:9 aspect ratio Full HD Display. It has MediaTek MT6750 chipset under the hood coupled with MaliT860-MP2 GPU. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB with an external storage.

The phone features a dual camera setup on the rear comprising of a 16MP primary camera and 0.3MP depth-sensing camera. On the front, it includes an 8MP shooter for selfies. The camera modules do not look great on paper, even after accounting for the price segment it features in.

It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based Jupiter UI and is powered by a 4000 mAh battery. However, the phone does not support fast-charging. Coolpad Note 8 has a fingerprint sensor on the rear and software-enabled face unlocking feature for security. It is going to available in a single color with Black piano finish.

Speaking at the launch, Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India, said,                                “After going through a rough phase we are looking forward to make an impact in the Indian market with Coolpad Note 8. This product will also be our first cooperation with Paytm and we are looking forward to make it a mutually beneficial one.”

Coolpad Note 8 Price and Availability

The Coolpad Note 8 has been priced at Rs. 9,999. Though this time the phone will be sold exclusively through Paytm Mall.
