Coolpad is back in India with its entry-level Cool 3. The phone has a trendy water-drop notch and is priced at Rs. 5,999. The company had launched three Mega smartphones in December 2018, but apart from these, Coolpad was pretty much absent from the smartphone sphere.

Coolpad Cool 3 Features

The trendy waterdrop notch is housed within a 5.71-inch HD+ display with 720×1500 resolution. You could grab the phone in Midnight Blue, Ruby Black, Ocean Indigo, and Teal Green color variants.

Talking of hardware, you get a 5 MP Front Camera within the waterdrop notch for clicking selfies. At the back, the Coolpad Cool 3 features a vertically aligned 8MP plus 0.3MP dual-camera setup. There’s an LED flash for the low-lit environments.

The budget-centric phone is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core processor. This is paired with 2GB of RAM. As far as storage is concerned, you get 16GB onboard storage, which is expandable using a microSD card slot up to 128GB. Coolpad Cool 3 would be fueled by a standard 3000 mAh battery.

Coolpad Cool 3 features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for securing your private data. We compliment the company to have included the Face Unlock feature as well. Other buttons include the volume and power keys on the right side and a dual-SIM tray on the left. The handset includes all standard connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, etc.
