Coolpad M3 With Notch Display Gets a Hush Release: Price and Specifications

Chinese Smartphone Manufacturer Coolpad has launched their next smartphone in a low key affair in China. The new Coolpad M3 is the company’s new entrant in the affordable segment. Coolpad has been really quite some time now both in China and India. The company has been reeling ever since LeEco debacle.

Coolpad M3 Features

Talking about the Coolpad M3, the company has resorted to notch design which is sort of has become an industry standard in 2018. The bezels are ultra-slim and the chin on the bottom is slender. The phone features a 5.85-inch (1512 x 720) HD display with 2.5D curved glass on the top. The phone is powered by MediaTek MT6750 Octa-core chipset which is supported by Mali T860 GPU.

The phone comes with 4GB GB and alongside 32GB ROM. The storage can be expanded with a microSD card up to 128GB. Coolpad has placed a dual camera setup on the rear of this smartphone. The primary sensor is a 13MP shooter and the second one is a 5MP sensor with the usual beauty and scene modes. On the front, we have a 5MP sensor with beauty mode.

It ships with a meagre 2800 mAh battery capacity with a 5W charger. The phone runs on Android Oreo 8.1 and has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Looks like Coolpad has made a serious tradeoff with the performance on this device to improve the look of the smartphone.

Coolpad M3 India Price and Availability

Coolpad M3 is available in two colours namely: Gentleman Blue and Sea Blue. Currently, it is only available in China through jd.com at a price of CNY 799 which roughly translated to Rs 8154. in China, the first sale of M3 will be held on Wednesday.
