Realme C1 2019, the budget-centric smartphone will go on sale starting February 5. The new C1 (2019) is an upgrade to the C1 launched last year and will cater to the massive entry-level phone market in India. The main highlights of Realme C1 (2019) are increased RAM and storage.

Meeting the 2019 trend, this year’s Realme C1 has a 6.2-inch notched display which gives a screen-to-body ratio of 88.8% and 19:9 aspect ratio. The third iteration of Corning Gorilla Glass would shield it from scratch and damage. The translucent textured back panel definitely scores a good mark on the design front. The new C1 comes in Deep Black and Ocean Blue colors.

A 13 MP + 2 MP dual camera setup has more to offer than what meets the eye. Realme has baked in software algorithms like PDAF to optimize the camera output. An AI enabled 5MP front snapper also takes help of algorithms to beautify your selfies.

Realme C1(2019) runs on the power-efficient 1.8Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor. Kudos to Realme for bringing us the 32GB onboard storage with its 2GB RAM variant, an applaudable upgrade from its forebearer.  It also comes in the option of a 3GB RAM + 32GB storage models. We also welcome the availability of a dedicated SD card slot expandable up to 256GB.

There is no compromise in case of biometric security in this budget device. You could activate face unlock and SmartLock features in the settings. The handset also supports dual 4G and dual VoLTE support.
