Ever since its entry into the Indian smartphone, Xiaomi has become the darling of online smartphone buyers in the country, so much so that most Xioami phones get sold out in literally a matter of seconds, at least in the opening few flash sales).
Now, the China-based company has started pumping in one smartphone after the other in India each catering to a different set of budget user. What we did is, we gathered all Xiaomi Phones under Rs. 15,000 with 3GB RAM (the norm these days) and compiled them in list favored for that strata of the customers. Have a look:
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4
By far, the best selling smartphone of 2017 (yet), the Redmi Note 4 has been nothing short of a revelation for Xiaomi. The phone, also available in 2GB and 4GB RAM variants, has a 5.5-inch full HD display, 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset, 13MP/5MP camera setup and a 4,100mAh battery. The RAM, you ask? But of course, 3GB.
Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime
One of Xiaomi’s proud possessions, the Redmi 3S Prime bears a look similar to the Redmi 3S. Alongside the 3GB RAM, the phone has a 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 430 SoC, 32GB ROM and similar cameras and battery as the Redmi Note 4 – specs that cement its place as one of the best budget smartphones ever.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime
A part of the trio of Redmi smartphones, the Redmi 4 Prime stays true to the designing elements that are common in all the three. Notable specifications and features (apart from 3GB RAM) herein include a 5-inch display, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a 4100mAh power unit and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, meaning you can certainly have a look at it, if you’re in the mood for something compact.
Xiaomi Mi Max
If you are someone who likes to keep things big (literally), you can opt for Xiaomi’s Mi Max. There is a huge 6.44-inch display in tow, apart from a 4,850mAh battery, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and camera combination of 16MP (back) and 5MP (front). The RAM is again 3GB, although there also exists another variant with slightly upgraded specs.
Xiaomi Mi 4
You need not fret over seeing an ‘old’ phone on this list for when it comes to specifications, it more than makes up for its veteran tag. A successor to the Mi 3, this one has a 5-inch display, 13MP and 8MP cameras (back and front, respectively) and a 3,080mAh battery. Although the age factor does act as a dampener, it is still a noteworthy smartphone.
