A tablet more than a phone, the Mi Max, is the latest offering to come from Xiaomi stables with a 6.44 inches full HD (1080x1920 pixels) display. Having a top of the line graphics card (Adreno 510) from Qualcomm mated with a hexacore snapdragon 650 processor (Quad-core Cortex-A53 & Dual-core Cortex-A72 clocked at 1.4 GHz & 1.8 GHz respectively) – the Mi Max should offer a seamless and good ownership experience.
MI Max will retail in two variants i.e. a 3GB (RAM) and 32GB (ROM) storage capacity and another 4GB (RAM) and 128GB (ROM), both expandable upto 200GB through a MicroSD slot. While the latter looks more powerful, even the first one may work perfectly well for you unless you are a heavy user or love mobile gaming.
The design bears some similarities with Redmi Note 3 and so does the hardware of the phone as both come with rear facing 16MP cameras and front facing 5MP snappers. Notably, Xiaomi claims to offer the fastest fingerprint sensor unlocking the device in just 0.3 seconds and a Type-C USB connector which will also be seen in the likes of upcoming Samsung Note 6. The display will be layered with scratch resistant corning gorilla glass 4.
Device will be running latest MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It offers gps through standard A-GPS (American), GLONASS (Russian) and BDS (Chinese). You can buy Xiaomi MI Max online in India for Rs.14,999 and 19,999 INR.read more →
