Xiaomi is launching two brand new Redmi series smartphones this month – the Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S prime. If we are talking about affordable smartphones with high-end experience, Xiaomi cannot be ignored.
Since all Redmi 3S Prime and Redmi 3S units are being made in India, the handset will be on sale without any Pre-bookings.
Basically, both the handsets are similar with a few trivial differences. The Redmi 3S prime has more RAM, more storage, and an additional fingerprint sensor.
Going through the highlights of Redmi 3S prime, it sports a 5-inch full HD (720x1280 pixel) IPS display with a pixel density of 294 ppi.
Redmi 3S Prime offers a metal unibody design with a curved finish body similar to other premium handsets.
It is powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 chipset paired with a 3GB RAM, a 32GB expandable storage memory (up to 128 GB) and an Adreno 505 GPU.
Redmi 3S Prime runs MIUI 7.5 based on android 6.0 (Marshmallow).
It also packs a 13 MP PDAF primary camera with LED flash along with a 5 MP front-facing camera both capable of 1080p video recording.
The handset is backed by a massive 4100 mAh battery (backup is yet to be determined though). Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, and GLONASS.
Redmi 3S Prime is available in 3 color variants (Gold, Gray, and Silver). You can buy Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime online in India via Mi.com and Flipkart starting from 9th of august. The new Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime price in India is expected to be 8,999 INR.
