Asus Zenfone 8 series debuts with a 5.9″ model and a bigger 6.67″ Flip variant. The differences between the two phones don’t stop there. They both sport different max screen refresh rates, memory configurations, battery volume, IP certification, and camera setup. But, a strong similarity between the two has to be the Snapdragon 888 processor inside.

The Zenfone 8 seems a better pick if one wants a smaller sober phone. There is also water resistance and no moving parts in its design.

Having said that, Asus does claim that the motorized module on the Zenfone 8 Flip should endure better than the predecessor, and has been tested to withstand up to 300,000 “flips”. There is, of course, the accidental drop retraction feature included. And if you want extra protection, the company has a custom RhinoShield case that will be sold separately in select markets. The case also has a sensor that instantly activates the camera when you slide down the cover.
Asus Zenfone 8 Price and Availability
Asus Zenfone 8 starts at $599 (~₹44,095) going all the way up to 799 Euros(~₹71,040). It will be available in Europe first followed by the U.S. Meanwhile, the ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip starts at 799 Euros (~₹71,040). It will soon hit the shelves in stores across Europe.
