The Speed I definitely Needed in my Life
I'm writing this review after using the phone for more than 8 months now so I've used this phone to the limits Start with the Design: this is my first even OnePlus phone and the Glass Metal design has a big part to play with it, I have the Mirror Black OnePlus6 and it just screams PREMIUM when u first look at it or hold it in the hand!! the ergonomics r so well done on this phone that I never once felt it to be bulky or difficult to hold in hand despite it's size, I just love the design on this phone! The Super AMOLED display: this is also the first phone I bought which has the AMOLED display and mark my words the DISPLAY is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Super small bezels with that small notch makes the FHD+ panel looks amazing. Colours r punchy, Deep Blacks and that small notch makes the media watching experience the best on this phone for me!! The CAMERAS: I'm not much of a camera guy, I hardly take photos and selfies but when I do with this phone just produce some amazing results be it in any lighting condition!! it may not be the best but I don't actually mind it that much, the 16MP front and back cameras perform great, still don't know what's that 20MP camera is doing there on the back..haha.. The BATTERY: to put it in word the battery on this phone for my usage is just Meahhhhh.... I mean the UI and Display is well optimized to provide good results and I constantly get over 5Hrs of battery life out of that 3300mAh but using 4G net and watching videos on this phone doesn't go along well for me but I'm still not complaining coz the super fast DASH Charge can juice up the phone from 10-100% in 1.5hrs which is impressive as hell!! The SOFTWARE: The Oxygen UI software experience is just clean, bloat free and snappy on this phone, I will go as far as to say that compare to the Android One UI on my MiA1 the Oxygen OS feels much better to me and provides a lot of good features over it, makes me fall in love with this phone even more!! The ELEPHANT in the House..... PERFORMANCE: If there is one area where u can Blindly Trust OnePlus to outperform any Competitor Flagship at.. it must be the PERFORMANCE area!! I saw many reviews, speed test of this phone with other flagships before making the purchase decision and boy was I surprised to use this phone!! It is different when u see it in the video but to actually use it is an even awesome experience!! With SD845 and 8GB RAM this phone literally FLIES through apps. Apps open super quick, touch response is amazing and Gaming on this phone is just AWESOME!! My MiA1 was also a fast phone but compare to this phone it felt like at 20-30%, love that SPEED!! Extras: U get a good quality Headphone jack which is missing in the 6T U also get a FAST Fingerprint Scanner, just not under the display that alert slider sure comes in handy when I'm in class or lecture and need to change the profile without opening the phone also the case they provide in the box is of very good quality that's all to my side, except the average battery this phone is just PERFECT for me and if I ever upgrade it the next one will be a OnePlus Phone for sure!!
