YU have officially unveiled an upgrade to the previously launched YU Yunique, dubbed as Yunique Plus. Well, the ‘PLUS’ refers to the additional 1GB of RAM space which is the only thing different in this iteration.
In terms of specifications, YU Yunique Plus sports a fully laminated, 4.7-inch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The handset is powered by a 64 bit 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 Quad-core processor teamed with 2GB RAM, Adreno 306 GPU and 8GB of onboard storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card).
YU uses a pedestrian 2,000mAh battery to power the handset. As far as photography is concerned, it flaunts an 8 MP primary snapper and a 2 MP Selfie shooter.

The handset supports dual SIM cards and in terms of connectivity, it offers 3G, 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
With all these specs clubbed within, it will take on the likes of Meizu M2, Coolpad Note 3 Lite, ASUS Zenfone Go and Xiaomi Redmi 3S. On paper, it lacks a required arsenal to compete against these smartphones. But you never know!

YU Yunique Plus price in India is marked at 6,499 INR. Availability details haven’t been officially confirmed yet, but the handset is already available with a few retailers.
