Yet Another Nokia Phone In The Pipeline: Nokia 8 surfaces Out Of Nowhere

HMD Global’s Nokia branded phones seem to have been continuously making headlines in tech town this new year. After bringing out the Nokia 6 smartphone, which is set to hit the Chinese market soon, another phone named Nokia 8 is in the offing if a recent video doing the rounds on social media is to be believed.

The company reportedly teased the Nokia 8 at the recently concluded CES and it is being speculated that it would be made public at the MWC next month. A Youtuber caught hold of some Nokia 8 images which he claims to be shot at MWC 2017.Since then this unannounced Nokia phone became a hot topic among tech enthusiasts.

Reportedly, the phone is most likely to come out in two variants, with one having a Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM and a 24-megapixel rear camera and the other one featuring a Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB RAM and a rumored inferior camera.

Apart from that, both the variants are expected to come with 12MP selfie camera, 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display and Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box.

Another distinct feature of the phone is the placement of a dual speaker setup at its chin. While mobile enthusiasts are pondering over the rumored specifications, the company itself is still yet to issue a word in this regard. As mentioned, the Nokia 8 is expected to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress on February 26.

Whether or not will it revive the old Nokia legacy remains to be seen.
