Finnish company HMD Global, having bought the license to sell an market Nokia branded smartphones, launched the Nokia 6 - their first Android smartphone. At first available only in China and now launched globally, the Nokia 6 is a compact mid-range phone brought into the market as a part of the company's comeback bid.
The phone boasts of a metallic unibody with chamfered edges and runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. It has a 5.5-inch full HD 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset combined with a Adreno 505GPU. There is a limited edition Arte Black version of the phone which will have a 64GB ROM and 4GB RAM while the other models will have a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
Packing a 3000mAh battery, the Nokia 6 is a dual-sim smartphone that has a dual speaker setup placed on both top and bottom, along with dual amplifier chips and Dolby Atmos technology. Further, the phone has decent front (16MP) and rear (8MP) cameras featuring F/2.0 aperture lenses for photography.
The phone is now out in the global market and is expected to hit the Indian market soon. The best price in India for Nokia 6 is expected to be around 21,000INR for the special Arte Black version and around 15,999INR for the other ones.
