Nothing Phone (4b) Surfaces on Geekbench With Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Ahead of Launch

The upcoming Nothing Phone (4b) has now been spotted on Geekbench ahead of its official debut next month. The benchmark listing confirms some of the key specifications of the device, which Nothing is set to unveil on July 7 at 3:30 PM IST.

Listed under the model number “Nothing A009P,” the device runs Android 16 and packs 7.25GB of RAM, indicating that the tested unit is the 8GB RAM variant.

The listing also confirms that the Phone (4b) is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset. Earlier rumors had suggested that Nothing could use a different processor, but the benchmark listing now confirms the company’s choice of silicon.

In Geekbench 6.7.1, the device scored 1,088 points in the single-core test and 3,155 points in the multi-core test.

What to Expect from the Nothing Phone (4b)

Nothing has been teasing the Phone (4b) for the past few weeks through a series of cryptic social media posts. The company has also shared partial glimpses of the device’s transparent design language, suggesting that the new model will retain Nothing’s signature aesthetic.

The Phone (4b) is expected to sit below the recently launched Phone (4a) in Nothing’s lineup. Reports suggest that the smartphone could be priced between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000, making it roughly ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 more affordable than the Phone (4a). The device is also expected to be available in two RAM and storage configurations at launch.

More details regarding the camera system, battery capacity, and complete specifications are expected to be revealed in the days leading up to the July 7 announcement.
