Xiaomi fans, mark your calendars! Redmi Note 12 4G is set to launch on March 30, 2023, during the Xiaomi Fan Festival. Ahead of the launch, the company has created a microsite on the Mi events website, revealing some of the phone’s key features.

Redmi Note 12 4G: What we know so far

The Redmi Note 12 4G boasts a similar design language to its siblings from the series, featuring a boxy build and a triple camera island on the back. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor and is expected to offer up to 11GB of RAM with variable RAM facility. The phone will also come with a Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, perfect for a seamless and smooth user experience.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Redmi Note 12 4G is equipped with a 50MP sensor on the back, promising top-notch photography and videography. And keeping the phone on is a 5000 milliamp battery, which should last you for hours on end.

With the absence of the 5G tax, the Redmi Note 12 4G could be priced lower than its 5G counterpart, the Redmi Note 12 5G. While the latter features a 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, 48+8+2MP triple rear camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, the Redmi Note 12 4G is expected to cater to the needs of the masses with its more affordable price point.

It is expected that the phone will run on the MIUI 14 software based on Android 13. As always, we advise taking any guesstimates with a grain of salt, but it’s clear that Xiaomi is gearing up for an exciting launch of the Redmi Note 12 4G. Stay tuned for more updates on this highly anticipated release!
