In his post, he wrote, “This is the Xiaomi Max 3 that we will release tomorrow. We have upgraded the screen, battery, camera, performance, and many AI blessing functions from the Mi Max 2 (review). I will introduce you one by one tomorrow night.”

Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Features

Thanks to the teaser post, it is sort of confirmed that the Mi Max 3 will boast of a 6.9-inch IPS LCD screen. The phablet display will support with 18:9 aspect ratio.

In the recent times, some rumors suggested the Mi Max 3 to rock a Snapdragon 710 but that isn’t the case. Like Redmi Note 5 Pro, the Mi Max 3 will rock a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset and could be paired with up to 6GB RAM.

What is certain is that the third generation Max phablet houses a 5,500mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Xiaomi is expected to announce multiple variants of the device and the top model could sport 128GB internal storage.

Xioami has also revealed that the Mi Max 3 cameras will be driven by AI and will detect over 206 scenes and optimize images for better results. As far camera hardware is concerned, the Mi Max 3  features a dual-rear setup of 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 sensor coupled with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with LED flash. The Mi Max 3 packs an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Previously, some leaked Mi Max 3 images hinted at a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone is expected to come running on Android Oreo-based MIUI 10 out-of-the-box.

Xiaomi has posted a teaser suggesting its tentative price of RMB1_99 which means all Mi Max 3 models will be priced under RMB 2,000 (roughly Rs 20K). The phone will arrive in three colour variants: blue, black, and gold.
