Xiaomi is all set to launch its next-generation Android One phone, Mi A2, in India on August 8. The product banner for the phone is now live on Amazon, thus confirming that Mi A2 will be an Amazon exclusive in India.

Xiaomi Mi A2 (Hands-on review) was earlier unveiled globally in Spain and so all specs and features are already out in the open. Mi A2 India Price is expected to lie between Rs. 18,000 and Rs. 23,000. Xiaomi will be bringing in 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage variants in the country.

Xiaomi Mi A2 Features

The biggest talking points of Mi A2 is its unadulterated software. The phone is a part of Google Android One program and will be getting future version updates for the next two to three years.

Expectations regarding its camera performance are also riding high. On the rear, the phone has a 20MP+12MP rear camera, but unlike last year, the secondary shooter doesn’t have a telephoto lens (for optical zoom). The extra sensor (20MP) will instead fire in extremely low light conditions and the software will use extra details for pixel binning to counter image noise. The implementation is similar to what we saw on the OnePlus 5T last year.

Other than that, the Mi A2 employs powerful Snapdragon 660 octa-core chipset, has a 5.99-inch 18:9 display, houses a 3010mAh battery and is missing the 3.5mm audio jack.
