Vivo Y71 With 18:9 Display Launched in India: Price, Features, Specifications

On the heels of Vivo V9 (features), the smartphone manufacturer has launched its budget phone Vivo Y71 in India. With this launch, the Y71 has become first Vivo’s Y-series phone to feature 18:9 aspect ratio display. Vivo has pitched this newly launched smartphone in the same price bracket as the Redmi 5 and Honor 9i Lite which certainly spice up the things in Rs. 10,000 budget segment. The Vivo Y71 to retail both online and offline channels.

Vivo Y71 Features

Talking about the Vivo Y71 features, the biggest here is a 5.99-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1440X720 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It has extremely narrow bezels on the side as a result, the Y71 has 84.4 percent of screen-to-body-ratio. The Vivo Y71 is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 octa-core mobile platform which is assisted by a 3GB RAM along with 16GB in-built storage and an external microSD card slot for storage expansion.

The Y71 comes running on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box which is garnished with Vivo’s own custom skin – FunTouch OS. It also supports face unlock feature.

For photography, the Vivo Y71 boasts of a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel camera at the front for selfies. The phone supports dual SIM card slots, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS options. It is backed by a 3,360 mAh battery.

The Vivo Y71 price in India officially set at Rs 10,990 and will be available in retail stores across India. The Vivo Y71 is available online on Amazon, Flipkart, and PayTM mall.
