Vivo recently launched another of its "Full-view" display phone, the Y71 in India. The handset is meant to pass on features like narrow-bezel 18:9 screen and Face Unlock at an affordable price point.
The handset has a metal-finish polycarbonate body, measures 155.87 x 75.74 x 7.8mm and weighs a modest 150 grams. The VivoY71 display is 6-inches in size with 720p HD+ resolution. It's a notch-free 18:9 display with decent colors and viewing angles. The handset is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 3GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage. The basic hardware should restrict Vivo Y71 performance. You can find some solace in the MicroSD card support, but that's hardly a replacement for internal storage.
The software on Vivo Y71 is Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS. The interface is based on the latest Android version and borrows heavily from iOS. For photography, there is a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, each with f/2.2 aperture lens. The Vivo Y71 camera performance is quite basic but its hard to complain in this regard. Most affordable phones still have only workable cameras.
The Vivo Y71 battery backup is remarkable. The 3360mAh battery can easily last for one day or more. Fast charging isn't supported, though. Other features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. There is no fingerprint sensor in Vivo Y71.
The Vivo Y71 Price in India is Rs. 10,990 INR. It does feel a bit overpriced, but you can avail further discounts using online deals and during sales. For timely notifications regarding Vivo Y71 price drops, you can subscribe to alerts above.
