Vivo X70 series is on its way to India and it will be launching on September 15 in line with the kick-off of IPL 2021. Vivo which returns as the title sponsor of this year’s Indian Premier League could use this as an opportunity to generate buzz surrounding its new smartphones. We expect three models to arrive including the Vivo X70 Pro+, Vivo X70 Pro, and Vivo X70. And for you, we have put together the details we know thus far about these upcoming smartphones. C’mon, let’s take a look.

Vivo X70 series specs (expected)

Beginning with the vanilla Vivo X70, the highlight features could be an FHD+ E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole in the middle. By the back, it is said to sport an f/1.15 aperture lens (for more light and shallower depth of field) and 5-axis image stabilization.

If you recall, the Vivo X60 Pro (review) and X50 Pro (review) also boasted a similar stabilization technique in partnership with Zeiss optics. The company has been working on this so-called “Gimbal stabilization” year after year. And the last time we saw it, it had this unique mechanism that adjusted the lens in the opposite direction to compensate for any camera shakes or shudders. So, we expect the X70 series to also tout its camera prowess.

Besides, the new phones should be getting upgrades in other areas too. For instance, the top-end Vivo X70 Pro+ is likely to ship with Snapdragon 888 processor, 5G connectivity, a 4,500mAh battery, and 66W fast charging support.

Vivo X70 series price in India (expected)

Vivo X70 Pro Plus is reported to cost around ₹70,000 and the Vivo X70 Pro at ₹50,000. Meanwhile, the base X70 model could come under ₹50,000.

Now, there’s still some time for the Vivo X70 series’ India launch. Also, due to the ongoing Covid restrictions and impediments, this tentative date could change too. In any case, we will keep you posted on all the updates we receive. So, stay in touch.
