Vivo V9 Sapphire Blue Color Variant Launched In India: Price, Features, Availability

Chinese OEM Vivo has announced a new color variant of its current flagship, V9, in India. From May 18 onwards, users would be able to buy the Vivo V9 in Saphire Blue color option as well across all offline stores. The online buyers will have to wait until 21 May 2018 to buy the phone from Amazon.in or Vivo e-store.

Speaking on the availability of the Vivo V9 Sapphire Blue, Kenny Zeng, Chief Marketing Officer, Vivo India, said, “The new Vivo V9 Sapphire Blue is a perfect combination of premium design and impeccable performance. The new variant presents our consumers with a smartphone that not only matches-up to their daily usage demands, but also their style quotient.”

Vivo V9 Features

The Vivo V9 Saphire Blue packs the same specs as its other color siblings. The phone houses a 6.3-inch FHD+ IPS display with 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage space.

For photography, the handset sports a 24-megapixel selfie camera and dual 16-meagpixel+5-megapixel sensors on the rear. The cameras are backed by Artificial Intelligence to enhance your photos, Beauty mode, and 4k video recording option.

The Vivo V9 runs on Android Oreo with its custom – Funtouch OS 4.0 – applied on top. Other features of the phone include Fingerprint sensor along with Face unlock, AR sticker, dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2.

Vivo V9 Saphire Blue Price

The new Vivo V9 Saphire Blue color variant will retail for the same price as its Pear Black and Champagne Gold color options, which is Rs. 22,990.
