While the vivo T4 has a composite plastic back panel, the Moto Edge 60 Fusion has a vegan leather back finish. Unlike the other models, the Phone (3a) has a glass back panel.

The vivo T4 features Shield Glass for screen protection, while the Moto Edge 60 Fusion uses Gorilla Glass 7i. Nothing has gone for Panda Glass to cover the glass screen.

Design

Moto Edge 60 Fusion alternatives

When it comes to looks, none of the phones fail to impress. They all have a tiny punch-hole notch at the front with symmetrical bezels on all sides (though the Edge 60 Fusion has the highest screen-to-body ratio).

On the back, the vivo T4 has a circular camera module with a shiny ring around it, while the Edge 60 Fusion houses its cameras on a square-shaped island that protrudes from the rest of the back panel. Even so, the Edge 60 Fusion’s vegan leather back gives a premium in-hand feel.

The Nothing Phone (3a) is perhaps the most unique smartphone. It features a transparent back glass panel, which reveals the aesthetically placed internals of the handset. Further, the handset’s circular camera module is surrounded by the three LED modules of the Glyph Interface.

All the phones have an optical under-display fingerprint scanner.

vivo T4 vs. Edge 60 Fusion vs. Phone (3a): Performance

Snapdragon 7s Gen 3

Under their shiny exteriors, the vivo T4 and the Nothing Phone (3a) are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (4nm) chip. It comprises one 2.5 GHz prime core, three 2.4 GHz performance cores, and four 1.8 GHz efficiency cores. Besides the CPU, the chipset also features the Adreno 710 GPU.

Both phones feature LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. While vivo equips the T4 with up to 12GB of RAM, Nothing stays put with 8GB of RAM. As a result, the vivo T4 should be able to retain more apps in its memory at any given point.

In our review of the vivo T4, the handset scores 771K points in the AnTuTu 10 benchmark and 1143/3122 points in the GeekBench 6 CPU test. Despite having a smaller memory, the Nothing Phone 3a scores around 795K points in the AnTuTu 10 benchmark. This could be due to Nothing’s better optimization.

Dimensity 7400 SoC

The Moto Edge 60 Fusion is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC (4nm), which features four 2.6GHz performance cores and four 2.0GHz balanced cores. Besides, the chipset features the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

As mentioned in our Moto Edge 60 Fusion review, the handset scores around 682K points in the AnTuTu 10 benchmark and 1045/3013 points in the GeekBench 6 CPU test. In daily life, the phone’s performance shouldn’t hold back users, as it can easily handle multitasking and casual gaming at medium graphics settings.

The operating system offers multiple AI features, including AI Eraser, AI Photo Enhance, AI Note Assist, Circle to Search, and Google Gemini (which replaced the regular voice assistant). And yes, the brand promises two years of major Android and three years of security updates with the handset.

The Edge 60 Fusion features Hello UI, which is closer to stock Android than the skin on the other models. Regular features aside, Hello UI offers many AI-based features, including Catch Me Up, Pay Attention, Remember This, Magic Canvas, and AI Transcription for notes. The phone also supports Google’s Circle to Search, Gemini, and Gemini Live.

It is worth mentioning that Moto promises three years of software support and four years of security patches for the handset.

While different buyers may prefer different user interfaces, the Edge 60 Fusion and Phone (3a) get a longer software support commitment.
