TL; DR
  • Samsung has rolled out a special “GMCS Sellout” dealer scheme (3 – 27 May 2026) offering direct discounts on Galaxy A37, A57, S26 and S26 Ultra models.
  • These incentives translate into effective street-price reductions: ₹5,000 off A37 series, ₹7,000 off A57 series, ₹8,000 off S26, and ₹9,000 off S26 Ultra.
  • The temporary discounts are said to help clear 2026 inventory faster.

Samsung has reportedly introduced a limited-time dealer incentive scheme that will bring meaningful price relief to buyers in India for the remainder of May 2026. The “2026-May-Model Scheme-GMCS Sellout” (Scheme 6.13.3) runs from 3 May to 27 May 2026 and provides “Special Support” payouts to all GT dealers across the country.

Retailers are expected to pass on most or all of this support in the form of instant discounts on the listed models. Here are the effective new prices after the scheme discount (based on current typical MRP/street prices as of early May 2026):

Galaxy S26 Ultra (₹9,000 off)

  • 12GB + 256GB: ₹1,39,999 → ₹1,30,999

  • 16GB + 1TB: ₹1,89,999 → ₹1,80,999

Galaxy A57 (₹7,000 off)

A57
  • 8GB + 256GB: ₹56,999 → ₹49,999
  • 12GB + 256GB: ₹62,999 → ₹55,999

Galaxy A37 (₹5,000 off)

  • 8GB + 128GB: ₹41,999 → ₹36,999

These discounts are over and above any bank offers, exchange bonuses, or EMI deals that may already be available. Since this is dealer-driven, final prices can vary slightly depending on the store, though the fixed discount on each model is expected to apply widely.

The timing suggests Samsung is trying to clear existing inventory before the next lineup arrives, especially after a month where most brands increased prices. This gives buyers a short window to pick up these models at lower effective prices before things return to normal after May 27.
