After months of rumors and anticipation, the Korean tech giant Samsung has finally confirmed its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in July, where the company is expected to unveil its next-generation foldables. The second Galaxy Unpacked event of 2025 will take place on July 9, 2025, in Brooklyn, New York. According to Indian Standard Time, the event will take place at 07:30 PM IST.

While the company will send out invites to media professionals, fans and enthusiasts can watch it live on the Samsung India YouTube channel.

Samsung Open Pre-Reservation For Indian Customers

From June 24, 2025 (04:30 AM IST), Samsung will accept pre-reservations for the upcoming Galaxy devices for Rs. 1,999, providing early birds with benefits of up to Rs. 5,999. Other benefits include early delivery, access to exclusive (online-only) colors, and the highest exchange value on an old phone.

  • To pre-reserve a device, visit Samsung India’s official website, click on ‘Pre-Reserve,’ and add the Galaxy Pre-Reserve VIP Pass to your cart.
  • Next, make a payment of Rs. 1,999 using any prepaid payment option.
  • Once the payment goes through, you’ll receive a Galaxy Pre-Reserve VIP Pass via email and message on the registered contact details, along with an e-Store voucher worth up to Rs. 5,999.
  • You can then use the e-Store voucher to purchase selected items on the Samsung Shop app or the official website.
  • Rs. 1,999 will be adjusted against the price of the Galaxy foldable purchase.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked July 2025: What To Expect?

At the July Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung is expected to unveil its next-generation foldable devices.

First up, we may have the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which might boast a 6.5-inch cover screen and an 8.2-inch internal foldable display. Under the hood, the foldable should run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy (3nm) chip.

The primary camera on the handset could be a 200MP (f/1.7) shooter, while the other two should remain the same. While the battery capacity is expected to remain the same at 4,400 mAh, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could feature Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth v5.3 (along with a USB Type-C 3.2 port).

Then, we should see the company unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 7, but with the recently-announced Exynos 2500 deca-core chipset. Other specifications might include a 4-inch cover screen, a 6.85-inch internal screen, a 50MP primary camera, and a 4,00 mAh battery.

We could also see the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, which is rumored to be based on the Galaxy Z Flip 6 (review). Other devices expected at the event include the Galaxy Watch 8 lineup (renders of which recently surfaced on the internet), the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025, and the Galaxy Buds Core.

We should also see certain announcements related to Galaxy AI regarding updates coming to Samsung’s suite of AI-based features. Last but not least, Samsung may also give us an update about Project Moohan, its mixed-reality handset developed in collaboration with Qualcomm.
