There is speculation that Samsung is set to reveal the Galaxy Z Fold 5 in August of this year. According to insider Chun, the Z Fold 5 will feature a camera setup identical to that of the Galaxy S23 Plus. As a result, it seems that the primary camera setup of the Z Fold 5 may not showcase any notable improvements compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 4.
The rear camera setup of the Galaxy S23 Plus consists of a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera that boasts OIS and a 3x optical zoom. This same trio of cameras is also present on the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

Chun’s leak is consistent with a tweet from fellow tipster Ice Universe, posted last week, which suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will retain the identical camera module utilized in the Z Fold 4. Presently, no information has surfaced concerning the other internal or front-facing camera specifications of the Z Fold 5.
If rumors are anything to go by, the Z Fold 5’s design will be not very far from the Galaxy Fold 4. A recent leak has disclosed that the device will feature a 6.2-inch cover display, while other reports suggest that it will house a 7.6-inch foldable AMOLED screen within. Additionally, speculation is circulating that a new hinge system may be incorporated, which would greatly diminish the noticeable crease on the foldable display. Both screens are anticipated to be fortified with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
