TL; DR
- New CAD renders have revealed the design and color options of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch9.
- Fresh renders of the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 suggest slimmer bezels, updated bezel markings, and a familiar rugged design.
- Samsung is expected to unveil both smartwatches at next month’s Galaxy Unpacked event in London.
Samsung’s next-generation smartwatch lineup has leaked once again ahead of its expected debut next month. This time, CAD-based renders of the Galaxy Watch9 have surfaced online, while leaker Evan Blass has shared what appear to be official renders of the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
Starting with the Galaxy Watch9, renders shared by OnLeaks (via Android Headlines) suggest that Samsung will offer the smartwatch in 40mm and 44mm sizes. Both variants are expected to be available in Bluetooth-only and LTE versions.

The renders also reveal Samsung’s color strategy for the upcoming smartwatch. The 40mm Galaxy Watch9 is expected to arrive in Cream and Graphite, while the larger 44mm model could be offered in Graphite and Silver.

In terms of design, Samsung appears to be continuing with the squircle-inspired case introduced in recent generations, paired with a circular display. The leaked images also indicate that Samsung will skip the Galaxy Watch Classic this year, meaning there will be no rotating bezel model in the lineup. Instead, the company is expected to ship the Watch9 with sporty silicone straps.

Meanwhile, newly leaked renders of the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 suggest that Samsung is just refining the design. The watch is expected to retain its 47mm case size and rugged aesthetic, although the new renders indicate slightly slimmer display bezels and revised bezel markings.

The leak also suggests that the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will continue to feature a titanium chassis, sapphire crystal protection, LTE connectivity, built-in GPS, and a 10ATM water-resistance rating. The rear design appears largely unchanged from the current Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Previous leaks have also hinted at a sizeable battery upgrade for Samsung’s premium smartwatch. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is rumored to pack an 800mAh battery, while the smaller 40mm Galaxy Watch9 could feature a 400mAh cell.
