Frequently Asked Questions
How do I activate eSIM on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 LTE 44mm with Jio or Airtel in India?
Setting it up is a breeze! Just pair your watch with your phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app, go to Watch settings > Mobile plans, and follow the prompt. Both Jio and Airtel support cellular sharing, meaning your watch will use the exact same phone number and data plan as your smartphone.
Can I use the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 LTE 44mm without carrying my phone?
Yes, that is the best part of the LTE version! With an active eSIM, you can leave your phone at home while going for runs or running errands. You can easily make calls, send texts, stream music, and navigate using Google Maps directly from your wrist.
What is the actual battery life of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 LTE 44mm?
With normal daily use over Bluetooth, you will get around 30 to 40 hours of battery life on a single charge. However, if you use LTE continuously without your phone nearby, the battery drains much faster, typically lasting between 12 to 18 hours.
Does the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 LTE 44mm work with non-Samsung phones like OnePlus or Nothing?
It absolutely does! It works with any Android phone running Android 11 or newer with at least 1.5 GB of RAM. Just keep in mind that a couple of Samsung-exclusive features, like ECG and blood pressure monitoring, will not work unless paired with a Galaxy phone.
Can I connect the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 LTE 44mm to an iPhone?
No, you cannot. This watch runs on Wear OS, which does not support iOS at all. If you are an iPhone user, you will not be able to pair, set up, or use this smartwatch.
Can I use Samsung Wallet or contactless payments on the Galaxy Watch 7 in India?
Yes, the watch comes with built-in NFC and fully supports Samsung Wallet. You can easily register your supported credit or debit cards to tap and pay at store terminals across India, though UPI payment via NFC is not natively supported yet.
Can I use WhatsApp directly on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 LTE 44mm?
Yes, you can download the official WhatsApp app from the Google Play Store on your watch. It lets you view chats, listen to voice messages, and send replies directly from your wrist, even when your watch is completely disconnected from your phone.
Is the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 LTE 44mm waterproof for swimming?
Yes, it has an IP68 and 5ATM rating, which means it can handle swimming in a pool or open water up to 50 meters deep for short durations. Just avoid wearing it during high-velocity water sports, deep-sea diving, or in hot showers and saunas.
How long does it take to fully charge the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 LTE 44mm?
Using the inbox fast magnetic charger, it takes about 75 to 80 minutes to go from a completely dead battery to 100%. If you are short on time, a quick 30-minute charge will easily juice it up to about 50%.
