Ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, 2025, specifications of the Galaxy S25 series have surfaced on the internet. Over the months, we’ve seen several leaks and rumors about the S25 series. However, this one seems to be a little more credible (and, at the same time, disappointing), as it is in line with all the previous reports.
Samsung Galaxy S25 (Leaked Specifications)
Folks at Android Headlines seem to have got their hands on the complete spec sheet of the purported Galaxy S25 series. According to the publication, the vanilla Galaxy S25 will be slightly thinner than the vanilla Galaxy S24 (7.2 mm vs. 7.6 mm). Further, the phone will feature a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution and a peak refresh rate of 120Hz.
The report adds how the phone could run on an overclocked variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, or as we’ve previously seen on the flagship Galaxy S series, a “for Galaxy variant,” details of which surfaced online a few days ago. Besides, the phone could feature 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
The report also highlights how the Galaxy S25 could ship with the same camera setup as the Galaxy S24: a 50MP primary camera, a 10MP telephoto camera for 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide camera, with a 10MP selfie shooter. The same applies to the battery capacity (4,000 mAh with support for 25W wired charging) and the connectivity options (except the S25 could feature Wi-Fi 7).
Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus (Leaked Specifications)
Throughout the leaked specifications of the vanilla Galaxy S25, we’ve noticed similarities with the Galaxy S24. The same holds for the upcoming Galaxy S25 Plus, which usually features a bigger screen than the regular model.
The Galaxy S25 Plus might come with the same 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen (with WQHD screen and 120Hz refresh rate), memory and storage options (12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage), camera sensors (50MP primary, 10MP telephoto for 3x optical zoom, 12MP ultrawide camera), battery (4,900 mAh cell with 45W wired charging), and connectivity options as the Galaxy S24 Plus.
The report does mention a couple of differences, but they are limited to a new chipset on the S25 Plus (the Snapdragon 8 Elite) and support for Wi-Fi 7. Besides, the Galaxy S25 Plus could be a tad thinner than the S24 Plus (7.3mm vs. 7.7mm).

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (Leaked Specifications)
Unlike the S24 Ultra, the Galaxy S25 Ultra could come with a slightly larger 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen. Under the hood, the Ultra variant could feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, 12GB of RAM for the European market, and up to 1TB of storage.
The camera on the S25 Ultra will get a major upgrade, though. While the primary sensor will retain its resolution at 200MP, the ultrawide sensor could see a bump from 12MP to 50MP. However, the other two telephoto sensors will retain their resolutions (10MP and 50MP). The front camera could be the same 12MP shooter.
Besides, the phone will feature Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Like the other models, the S25 Ultra will be thinner than its predecessor (8.2 mm x 8.6 mm).
All Galaxy S25 Models Will Ship With One UI 7.0
While the report highlights the specifications of the three Galaxy S25 models, it doesn’t mention anything about the S25 Slim variant. Nonetheless, all the models in the S25 lineup will ship with One UI 7.0 based on Android 15, which is sort of a given.
