Samsung India teased a “Game On” smartphone last week, and now the teaser page has been replaced by the official page of its next On-series phone – the Galaxy On7 Prime. As it turned out, the Galaxy On7 Prime is basically an upgraded version of Galxay J7 Prime and Galaxy On Nxt lauched last year.
- Compared to J7 Prime, Galaxy On7 Prime has an upgraded selfie camera.
- Samsung has also added a 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage variant.
- It also gets upgraded Android Nougat software and Samsung Pay Mini support.
Galaxy On7 Prime Features
The Galaxy On7 Prime has the same design as its predecessors. The handset includes a metal back, 2.5D glass front, a front fingerprint sensor + home button, and side-mounted loudspeaker. It’s 8mm thick and has a 5.5-inch Full HD display.
On the inside, the On7 Prime is powered by the same Exynos 7870 chipset paired with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage. Samsung also throws in a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
For photography, the handset includes 13MP cameras on front and rear, each with f/1.9 aperture lens. The On7 Prime will also integrate Samsung Pay Mini for mobile payments. Other features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, and a 3300mAh battery.

Samsung’s On-series phones are meant exclusively for online markets and the On7 Prime will retail on Amazon.in. The India price isn’t yet official but both variants are expected to be priced under (or around) 15,000 INR.
