Samsung has announced the Galaxy M31 Prime in partnership with Amazon India. It bears the same hardware as the original. What’s new and extra are the preloaded Amazon apps like Amazon Shopping, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Prime Music, Kindle, and Audible that come within a dedicated folder. You can instantly access them by swiping right on the homescreen.

Samsung is carrying over many of the parts and components from the standard M31 (review) to this one. The front is a 6.4-inch sAMOLED panel with an Infinity-U cutout and FHD+ resolution.

The selfie snapper sports the same 32MP megapixel sensor. It allows sign in using face unlock. There is support for other things such as 4K video recording, slow-mo, AR doodle, and AR emoji. By the back, there’s a 64MP quartet, which identical to the original, consists of the primary 64MP, an 8MP 123-degree ultrawide, a 5MP depth, and a 5MP macro lens.
Inside, it’s carrying the hackneyed Exynos 9611 chipset. This is assisted by 6GB LPDDR4x RAM, 64/128GB storage (extendable up to 512GB using a microSD card), and 6000mAh battery with 15W charger support.

The specs mix also comprise of Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, fingerprint reader, 3.5mm jack, and a bunch of sensors.
Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime price and availability
Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime will be offered at a starting price of Rs. 16,499 for the sole 6+128GB model. It will be available during the Great Indian Festival Sale on Amazon from October 17. With the purchase, you’ll be getting 3 months of complimentary Prime subscription.
