Apart from Galaxy A6/A6+, Samsung has also launched a couple of J-series phones in India. This is also the first time Samsung is extending its 18.5:9 infinity display to its Galaxy J-series phones.

Samsung Galaxy J8 and J6 Specifications
Samsung Galaxy J8 is the more premium phone of the two. It comes with 6-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED ‘Infinity display’ with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage space.
The Galaxy J6, on the other hand, sports 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED ‘Infinity display’ with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Exynos 7870 processor, paired with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB/ 64GB storage space.

For photography, the Galaxy J6 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/1.9 and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with an aperture of f/1.9. Whereas the Galaxy J8 features a dual 16MP+5MP sensor on the back and a 16-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/1.9 on the front for selfies.
Both J8 and J6 smartphones run on Android Oreo as base UI out-of-the-box and house a 3000mAh battery and 3500mAh battery, accordingly.
Samsung Galaxy J8 and Galaxy J6 Price and Availability
Samsung Galaxy J8 has been priced in India at Rs. 18,990. The Galaxy J6, on the other hand, retails at Rs. 13,990 for its 32GB storage variant and Rs. 16,490 for its 64GB storage. Both smartphones will be available in Blue, Black and Gold colour options.
The Galaxy J6 first sale in India will start from May 22 onwards via Paytm Mall, Samsung India E-Store and Flipkart, as well as Samsung retail stores. Whereas the Galaxy J8 will go on sale in the country on June 20.
