Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ with AI Camera Feature Launched In India: Price, Specification

Samsung has updated its mid-range portfolio with the launch of a handful of phones in India. The line-up includes Galaxy A6/ A6+, Galaxy J8 and Galaxy J6 phones. All handsets differ from one another but share a common point, which is their fascia that has Samsung’s flagship Infinity display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ Difference

The Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ both are dual-SIM phones with 5.6-inch HD+ and 6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel, respectively. They both employ 4GB RAM, up to 64GB storage, and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.  The battery on Galaxy A6+ (3500mAh) is bigger than that on Galaxy A6 (3000mAh).

The Galaxy A6+ rocks 1.8Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC and features a dual 16-megapixel (f/1.7) and 5-megapixel (f/1.9) sensors on the back and 24-megapixel sensor on the front. Its elder sibling, on the other hand, rocks Exynos 7 series SoC and features a 16-megapixel f/1.7 sensor on the back and another 16MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture lens on the front for selfies.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Dolby Atmos support, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC, and GPS. The Galaxy A6 and A6+ also have an AI camera in the Samsung Mall and Samsung Pay Mini for mobile payments.

Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ Price, Availability, Launch Offers

Samsung Galaxy A6 India price starts from Rs. 21,990 for its 32GB storage variant and Rs. 22,990 for its 64GB onboard storage option. In the similar context, Galaxy A6+ is priced at Rs. 25,990. The handsets will go on sale in the country starting May 22 from Paytm Mall, Samsung India e-store, Amazon.in and Samsung offline retail stores.

You can avail up to Rs. 3,000 via Paytm Mall and on purchases made using ICICI credit cards on both the phones.
