Samsung Galaxy A20 is official in India and will be available in stores starting next week. The A20 is strategically placed and priced between the Galaxy A10 and the A30 (review), and is meant to compete against the likes of Redmi Note 7 Pro and Realme U1 (review) in India. So, as the South Korean tech giant expands its Galaxy smartphone lineup, let’s see how this one stacks up in the swiftly expanding Samsung portfolio.

Samsung Galaxy A20 features

Galaxy A20 shares a super-AMOLED display which is of 6.4-inch in size but with only 720×1560 HD+ pixels resolution. The facade houses a waterdrop notch aka Infinity-V with an 8MP sensor (f/2.0 aperture and fixed focus). On the surface, the phone flaunts a 3D Glasstic body.

Coming back to the optics, the rear features a 13MP sensor (f/1.9 aperture) along with a 5MP sensor (f/2.2 aperture). You would also find the fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication at the back.

Samsung Galaxy A20 ships with an octa-core Exynos 7884 SoC that is clocked up to a max 1.6GHz. We haven’t come across Exynos 7884 details so far, so it’s hard to estimate or expect anything in terms of performance.

The phone bears just a single memory configuration of 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. Gladly, it could be expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB).

Galaxy A20 also packs a whopping 4000mAh battery that alongside the super-AMOLED HD+ display and fast charging should endure well. Other important specifications include the 3.5mm headphone jack and micro-USB 2.0 port along with the standard connectivity options.
