Samsung Galaxy A50, A30 and A10 Launched In India: Price, Specs and Availability

Samsung has lifted the veil off its next generation of Galaxy A series of phones. Both Galaxy A50 and A30 were officially showcased at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in Barcelona. Following the global announcement Samsung has launched the Galaxy A50, A30, and A10 in India. (हिंदी में पढ़िए)

Samsung Galaxy A50

The Samsung Galaxy A50 is the most powerful device in the lot. It comes with a 6.4-inch Infinity U Super-AMOLED display with full HD+ screen with Gorilla Glass 3. Samsung has placed its own Series 7 SoC – Exynos 9610 chipset. The phone also features on-screen fingerprint which Samsung’s first in the budget range.

Samsung has also packed a multi-camera setup at the back of the Galaxy A50. It comes with a triple setup that includes a 25MP(F/1.7) + 8MP(W, F/2.2) + 5MP(F/2.2) camera pack. It will receive features EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) for evading jittery videos.

Samsung is offering Galaxy A50 in 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage options. The phone packs a whopping 4000mAh with 15W fast charging. The Dual-SIM device to be made available in four color options – Black, White, and Blue.

Samsung Galaxy A30

The Galaxy A30, on the other hand, is slightly trimmed down version of the A50. It too features a 6.4-inch Super FHD+ AMOLED Infinity-U display but instead of an on-screen fingerprint scanner, this one has a traditional reader at the back.

At the back, the Galaxy A30 also get a dual camera setup comprising of a primary 16MP (F/1.7) and Ultra-wide 5 MP (F2.2) sensor. You could click selfies using 16 MP front camera which also scans your face for biometric security.

Under the hood, the phone is running on an Exynos 7904 processor with 4000mAh battery. This supports fast charging via USB-C port. You get 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage out of the box. Want more storage, expand it up to 512GB using a microSD card.

The Red, Blue, and the Black variant of this phone would be available with Dual VoLTE support. Here again, you get Samsung’s One UI on Android Pie.

Samsung Galaxy A10

The smallest one of the lot sports a smaller 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1520) Infinity-V display. Upfront a 5MP camera is housed within this V-cut. Galaxy A10 also features Face Unlock option. The rear one is a 13MP (F/1.9) camera.

The low-end smartphone carries a 3400mAH battery. Rest, you get an Exynos 7884 chipset along with 2GB RAM variant with 32GB inbuilt storage expandable up to 512GB. The software experience would be on Android Pie based One UI.

Samsung Galaxy A10 would be out on three colors viz. Red, Blue, and Black. If you were wondering, yeah this one also supports Dual VoLTE.

Samsung Galaxy A series Pricing and Availability

The Galaxy A50 comes out in 4GB RAM plus 64GB storage variant for Rs. 19,990, while the higher 6GB RAM plus 64GB storage model is priced at Rs. 22,990.

Next up, Galaxy A30’s 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage would be available for Rs. 16,990 and finally the Galaxy A10 is priced at Rs. 8,490.

The South Korean giant will start selling the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 in India from March 2, while the Galaxy A10 will hit the shelves in India starting March 20.
