Samsung launched a slew of phones in its A-series this year. Just a few weeks later and the low tier phones in the A series, i.e. Galaxy A10, Galaxy A20, and Galaxy A30 have got their prices slashed. The information comes from a trusted offline retailer, Mahesh Telecom, who shared the new market operating prices in a tweet.

Here we have the current effective price of these phones in the offline market that should also reflect on online stores soon.

Samsung Galaxy A10, A20, and A30 New Prices

Phone name Old Price (with exchange offer) Old Price (without  exchange offer) New Price
Samsung Galaxy A30 Rs 16,990 Rs 15,990 Rs. 15,490
Samsung Galaxy A20 Rs 12,990 Rs 12,480 Rs. 11,490
Samsung Galaxy A10 Rs 8,990 Rs NA Rs. 7,990

The reason for the price cuts is not yet clear, but it’s not unusual for Samsung or other brands to cut prices a few weeks after the launch in order to counter fresh and upcoming competition.

Samsung earlier sold 2 million A-series phones in just 40 days, resulting in total revenue of $500 million, so poor performance in the market might not be a probable cause.

Either way, the price drop could be welcomed by the market. The base variants of Galaxy A10, A20 and A30 were priced at Rs. 8,490, Rs. 12,490 and Rs. 16,990 respectively. Currently, online listings are showing the same launch time prices.
