Realme GT Neo will be the next flagship smartphone from the company and it will be powered by Dimensity 1200 SoC. Previously, Realme had launched its first flagship smartphone of 2021 dubbed Realme GT with Snapdragon 888 5G chipset on March 4 in China. Both the Realme GT and Realme GT Neo are the part of company’s new strategy of unveiling two flagships on two different platforms.
When MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset went official first in January, Realme was named as one of the first brands to employ the processor in its phone. Earlier, a leak suggested that Realme X9 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 1200 SoC.
Other than Realme, Redmi has also confirmed to utilize Dimensity 1200 SoC in its upcoming unspecified gaming smartphone. In other news, OnePlus Nord 2 is also said to be developed on the same MediaTek processor.
The two Realme GT-series phones will be limited to China for now. Being the largest market of Realme, India is also expected to receive the GT smartphone sooner or later. As of now, the company is teasing its Realme 8-series phones in the country boasting a 108MP camera module.
