Realme GT 5G unveiled globally along with Watch 2 Pro and a Robot Vacuum Cleaner

Realme has globally launched its flagship phone — the Realme GT 5G. It comes wielding the Snapdragon 888 processor, 5G, a 120Hz Super AMOLED display, Realme UI 2.0, a 64MP triple camera setup, and even a 3.5mm jack. Besides the phone, the company also unveiled the Realme Watch 2, Watch 2 Pro, and Realme Robot Vacuum Cleaner for the global markets.

Realme Robot Vacuum Cleaner features

Realme’s TechLife brand brought out this Robot Vacuum Cleaner that comes equipped with 38 navigational sensors including LiDAR to find its way to various nooks and crannies of your homes. The vacuum cleaner is 10cm tall and is protected by tempered glass on the top. The machine can store up to 5 maps, which should be beneficial in multi-storied buildings. It is said to work at around 55dB noise level. You can set boundaries and remotely control the device in real-time through the Realme Link app. There is support for Google Assistant and Alexa as well.

Realme Watch 2, Watch 2 Pro features

Realme Watch 2 Pro flaunts a 1.75″ Color AMOLED display with 600 nits peak brightness. You can personalize this squircle screen with 100+ watch faces including live ones. It has got SpO2 monitor, real-time heart rate tracking, Dual-Satellite GPS, 90 sports modes, 14-day battery endurance from a 390mAh battery, IP68 ingress protection, and traditional smartwatch features.

As a flagship device, Realme GT’s fascia flaunts a Super AMOLED screen stretching 6.43-inches. It is a 120Hz refresh rate panel. There is a fingerprint reader embedded right within the display touching which unlocks the phone to Realme UI 2.0 interface. This skin packs a drove of software chops on top of the core Android 11 optimizations. The device also happens to be one of the early adopters of Android 12 Developer Beta, and the final version will be available to the device later this year.

Under the hood, there is the top-shelf Snapdragon 888 chipset aided by up to 12gigs of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For those who crave every last bit of performance, there’s GT Mode, an exclusive feature of the Realme GT series. This said to put the phone in full throttle and facilitates a snappy and stable gaming experience.

For connectivity, you are getting 5G and all the essentials including a headphone port.

And for cameras, there is 64MP triplet by the back and a 16MP selfie snapper upfront.

You get to pick the device in two finishes — Glass (with Dashing Silver and Dashing Blue colors) and Vegan Leather (with a Black and Yellow color).

Price and Availability

First of all, the Realme GT phone is releasing in global markets like Poland, Spain, Russia, and Thailand. It is expected to hit more markets soon.

Realme GT 5G’s pricing is as follows:

  • 8+128 GB – €369 (~₹32,776)
  • 12+256 GB – €499 (~₹44,323)

Realme is also allowing early-bird discounts of 499 euros for the 12GB+256GB model during Amazon Prime Day starting on June 21.

Realme Robot Vacuum Cleaner’s price starts at €299 (~₹26,560). Sale begins from June 16.

Realme Watch 2 and Realme Watch 2 Pro are priced at €54.99 and €74.99 respectively. They go on sale starting June 16.
