After a brief hiatus, Realme is back on the adrenaline rush and launch spree, the latest tweets from CEO Madhav Sheth hints at the imminent launch of Realme 8. The interesting part is that this upcoming phone will brandish a 108MP camera. The company will officially announce more on March 2 during the Realme Camera Innovation Event.

Realme 8: Details So Far
Realme 8 will be the first smartphone from the maker to bear a 108MP camera module. Well, it has come to broad daylight that Realme is shooting its arrow at its arch-nemesis Xiaomi which had previously launched Mi 10i (review) and will soon introduce the Redmi Note 10 series in India.

It is safe to expect two variants of the phone – Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro. The Realme 8 series could ship with a 5G-compatible processor, as the company has recently launched its cheapest 5G phone Narzo 30 Pro (review).

Rumors also suggest that the Realme 8 series will come with a high refresh rate panel and Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0. It remains to be seen if a choice between AMOLED display and High refresh rate display will still be involved and what the brand chooses.
