POCO has launched the M8 Power in India. Sales begin on August 7 exclusively via Flipkart.

The 6GB + 128GB model is priced at ₹24,999 and the 8GB + 128GB at ₹27,999. A ₹3,000 bank offer drops the base variant to ₹21,999. It is available in Blaze Orange, Green and Black.

The phone is built around an 8,000 mAh battery with 45W charging included in the box and 22.5W reverse wired charging. POCO claims three days of usage. The cell is rated for 1,600 cycles and retains 80% capacity after five years of use. A full charge from 0 to 100% takes 70 minutes.

It features a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits peak brightness. The panel is a Samsung E4 unit with 960Hz PWM dimming, DC dimming, a punch-hole cutout and a relatively noticeable chin.

Power comes from the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset on a 4nm process, paired with 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. A 10,416mm² graphite cooling system handles thermals.

Software is HyperOS 3 with four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. It supports Hyper Island, Xiaomi HyperConnect, Xiaomi Interconnectivity, Circle to Search, AI Sky and AI Eraser.

The main camera uses a 50MP JNS sensor measuring 1/2.76-inch with an f/1.8 aperture and 2X in-sensor zoom. The front camera is an 8MP sensor on a 1/3.6-inch format with an f/2 aperture. Both cameras are limited to 1080p30 video recording.

Other features include an IR blaster, on-screen fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, IP65 rating, a mono speaker and a weight of 225 grams.
