Poco F3 GT Launched In India; Will rival OnePlus Nord 2 5G in sub-30,000 market

Poco F3 GT after being in the news for weeks now officially launched in India. Poco seems to be pushing it as a phone for gaming enthusiasts as it boasts features like dedicated shoulder triggers, high touch sampling rate, a high refresh rate, and an AMOLED display. Likely most of the recent Poco phones, the F3 GT is a re-branded Redmi K40 Gaming Edition smartphone that debuted in China in April this year. (हिंदी में पढ़िए)

Poco F3 GT price in India, availability

The Poco F3 GT starting price in India is ₹26,999 and goes all the way up to ₹30,999. The base variant comes with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage while the top of the line variant features 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Interestingly, Poco is trying out FOMO marketing tactics with its pricing. For an initial one week (July 26- August 2), the Poco F3 GT will be available with ₹1,000 off. In the second week, discount will come down to ₹500 bucks. From August 9 onwards, the Poco F3 GT will be sold without any discounts.

Interested folks will be able to pre-book the F3 GT from 24 July at 12 PM and sales will commence on 26 July at 12 PM. Poco will be selling its new smartphone on Flipkart. it will be available in Predator Black, and Gunmetal Silver colors.

Poco F3 GT Highlights & Features

The Poco F3 GT is a smartphone that aims to woo gaming enthusiasts. The phone comes with Maglev Triggers, GT Switches, and a precise haptic vibration motor. On the hardware front, it gets to flaunt a 6.67-inch Tubro AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen can register touch at 480Hz speeds. It also has DC Dimming support.

The phone is driven by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

For photography, the Poco F3 GT packs a triple camera setup including a 64-megapixel main camera (f/1.65 aperture), 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor (119-degree field-of-view), and 2-megapixel macro lens. The main sensor is made of an ED (extra-low dispersion) glass that is normally used in DSLR lenses for better clarity of images. The camera module is surrounded by RGB glow lights alongside flash. For selfies, it includes a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The Poco F3 GT comes with stereo speakers along with Dolby Atmos sound. To ensure better gaming experience, Poco has placed three mics on the phone.
